you make some great points , i found angeles city great the bar fine 1300 p very reasonable , the fact they speak english is huge for me having said that im trying to book a 3 day trip to bankok while im in manila
Bangkok is more tourist friendly than Manila. It feels safer, less overcrowded, way more Westerners around and communication is easy (even if it is in pigeon English).
The girly bar scene in Bangkok is way more sophisticated than that of Manila.
In that regard, Pattaya also beat Angeles City.
Hotels are cheaper in Bkk, and IMO, the Thai girls are better looking on average (although Makati [P.Burgos st.] girls matched anything Thailand had)
PI is cheaper for girls and drinks though.
